OUTREACH COMMISSION Chair: Sr. Joseph Eugene Fogarty, RN, OP, 429-1018 Mission Statement: The mission of Our Lady Star of the Sea’s Outreach Commission is to reach out to the disenfranchised within our community to ensure that basic human needs are met in their lives. Outreach Programs: Interfaith Satellite Shelter – Provides dinner and shelter for the homeless on Mondays at 5:30pm in the Parish Hall, November 1st through May 1st. Contact Bev Dyc at 462-0331 to donate food or prepare a meal. For information or assistance, call the Interfaith Satellite Shelter program at 458-6023. Star Health Outreach – Provides communion for the homebound or for those in extended care facilities. Senior Luncheons – Potluck lunches the first Friday of the month at 12:30pm in the Parish Hall. Bring your place setting. Senior Aerobics – Tuesday and Thursday at 1:30pm. St. Vincent de Paul – Provides assistance to those in need of food, clothing or shelter.
