FAITH DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION Chair: Luis Motta, 429-1018 Mission Statement The Faith Development Commission works to encourage, develop and enrich all aspects of the varied ministries which reflect together and unite to form our parish community. Our Goal The Commission’s goal is to inform the parish community on which groups are currently being represented and also to let the community know all of the things that are happening within each group. Groups and Activities The Faith Development Commission includes the following ministry groups: Religious Education Elementary, Grades 1-6 (English speaking) Elementary, Grades 1-6 (Spanish speaking) Junior High Youth Group, Grades 7-8 High School Youth Group, Grades 9-12 Vacation Bible School Small Church Communities Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) – English speaking Rito de Iniciacion Cristiana de Adultos (RICA) – Spanish speaking Parish Library Adult Education (representation on 4-Parish Adult Education Committee) Stewardship Hispanic Commission (representative attends meetings to enable collaboration in the various events throughout the year) Annual activities sponsored / directed: Lenten Dinner Halloween Party Vacation Bible School Pythian Youth Camp Thanksgiving Food Drive Christmas Giving Tree [Home Page][Commissions Main Page][Diocesan Ministries Page]
